Ironing is barbaric

You think Ironing is barbaric, that’s why you waste the good efforts of great fashion designers and tailors. If you are fashion challenged, you probably know that by now, the least you should do, is try to look presentable in your outfit. A boss says "if you don’t care enough to wear something presentably to work, you also don’t care about your job or care enough to retain your job.

Don’t be lazy to keep yourself buyable. Get an iron, a professional fashion designer, a good tailor, do your laundry by hand or make use of your washing machine. You will only be doing yourself a favor.

Some say’ good taste in clothes isn't just a guy’s strength. I boldly dismiss that notion because I have seen lots of guys who are emotionally attached to anything fashion, personal style, fashion trends,  and sense of good fabrics and outfits. These type of guys, I bet will do better in relationships. They will take care of babes in a more detailing way, because they care enough to look good.

Wrinkles that come from sitting at your desk all day can be excused, you could start your day off with a perfectly ironed white shirt or smart native wear and by the time it hits lunch hour, it’s as if you grabbed it straight out of the dryer and made no effort to iron it. We can understand that, even your conscience will ease you some stress, but wrinkles that come from your clothes being in a pile at the bottom of your closet all night are certainly not ACCEPTABLE.

Fashion Advice for Guys

Young men are the future leaders of society, and dressing sharp is the first step towards becoming professional in your sphere. A lot of young men are starting their professional lives without a clue as to how to dress. This needs to change

Clearly, clothes may not make the man, but the right clothing can give a young man precious seconds to make his case and influence people.

Let’s get few fashionable advices for guys

Bad Fit Is An Epidemic: Crisp, clean, and well fitted clothing encourages others to take you more seriously. The most basic improvement you can make in your style is to make sure everything fits impeccably. What you wear should almost hug the shape of your body; without being tight.

Have at Least One Good Suit in the Closet:  No matter what your job is, you’re going to need a decent suit at some point.

Build from White, Blue and Black Shirts: White, black and light blue shirts are the backbone to a sharp wardrobe.  This is basically because these colors make approximately 90% of the shirts sold anywhere. Either of these colors looks good on most skin tone and body types as well.

Take Care of Your Clothing: Being young means having less money to throw around.  If you've strained out for a few pieces of good, quality clothing - a made to measure suit, a pair of expensive dress shoes, well sewn native senator wear, or native casual wears made by one of the professional fashion designers we have in Nigeria, or what have you, it’s worth a few bucks more to keep the clothes in good shape.

Never stay Under-dressedYeah right! Don’t overdo it, but dare to take some risks. It’s always better to be a little bit overdressed than under-dressed in any setting. All you have to do is think about where and who you’re going to be with and just step it up one bit. But make sure you’re not better dressed than someone who is more important in a certain setting.

Disregard trends: Beware of buying something just because it’s in vogue, stick to what you truly like.

Never underestimate the power of details: The last thing on is usually the first thing noticed.

Continually cultivate your image: Invest more time and money into your image. Cultivate your fashion sense. Your style is a huge mode of communication, and is worth caring for as much as your education, career, and relationships.

STYLE INSPIRATION FROM A MEN-STYLE SLAYER

ONE DAY WITH A FASHIONISTA @Dr.LEGEND

Men-Style is not something to joke with, not when some real men are pulling styles together to slay the world, making it difficult to be unnoticed. Its hard to see a Classic man and not turn head, being able to match colors together and accessories as a man is definitely Dr.LEGEND’s thing.

Every man wants to be classy but not everyone want to put in the work! But Fashion sure requires the hard work because you  get to look like you fell from the sky #Legendary, #Flawless after. It could as well be the easiest thing to wake up and do if you are equal to the task, just a fine task of colors and designs with a touch of complete neatness.

Although you may not need to do the hard work of choosing colors, accessories, design and sewing yourself because you are not a tailor nor a fashion designer. You can contract it to some professional fashion designers depending on your location. In Nigeria, we have some fashion designers who are committed to excellence and creativity, the likes of mudiafrica, dr.legend republic, momo coutre, yomi casual etc. After spending a day with them, you will come out with a different feel of perception.

Smart Casual Wears

Smart casual is ambiguously defined dress code that is generally a neat yet informal attire. Different localities, kinds of events, context or cultures can have varying interpretation of the dress code and therefore the designation of certain clothing pieces as smart casual is disputed.

At Dr.LegendClothing smart casual is defined as a step below semi-formal, in the sense that it is not formal. When a good fashion designer wants to design a casual wear, what he emphasizes on is comfort and personal expression. Casual suits everyday use but casual is always defined in context and location. In Nigeria, professional fashion designers often see casual as something relaxed, snappy but classy.

For women, if an event is “smart casual” it means you aren’t dressing up like you would for work or for a formal occasion, but you are also not going to look bored or wear what you would wear for sitting around the house.  For a “smart casual” event, you aren’t expected to wear a suit or cocktail dress, but you’re also not expected to wear your yoga pants and ripped t-shirt.  It involves putting a bit of effort in your attire without going all out.
