Wardrobe Needs for Men Only

Most men always take a sober time to reflect on life and plans but they fail to turn around and look back at their wardrobe. The wardrobe needs of men are often neglected, especially when they assume

they are no longer boys.

We've rounded up a few of the most important wardrobe needs of men...

A 3 Piece suit that is well tailored and perfect fits: There are no more excuses anymore. You're an adult now. You need at least one tailored suit or two with perfect fit, preferably black and navy or black and gray.
Really, you should have both by now. What have you been doing all this time?

A nice blazer: A nice blazer will make sure that you don't overwhelm the room with a full suit when the occasion doesn't call for it. But it can also separate you from the crowd a bit.

Wristwatch: Even if you're not a watch guy, you should realize the importance of wearing a watch on some occasions. Drop a few thousands to get a timepiece that you can call your own.

A durable leather belt: Instead of going through belts every year like usual, invest in an expensive one that you can wear for years.

The perfect T-shirt: The perfect T-shirt is not a myth. You just have to find it. Probably get a good tailor, a Nigerian tailor or fashion designer if you are Nigerian base to sew to your measurement.

There is no better feeling than to wear a perfect fit shirt or best fit for any type of clothing

The Only Way To Get Her Attention

Do you ever go out and feel a bit… underdressed? It’s not that you think you should have worn a suit and tie. It’s just that you think there’s something missing. You want to dress better, you want to impress, whether you’re running errands, making the town or heading out for a first date. The good news is that dressing to impress is probably a lot simpler than you’re making it out to be.
This is how.

Get Groomed...!

It doesn't matter what the occasion is, grooming is important. You should be seeing your barber at
least fortnightly. Showers are a must every day. Also keep your facial hair groomed, whether that’s a close shave or just trimming the mountain man beard before you head out for the night.
Your grooming and personal hygiene are essential parts of your overall image.

A Word on Scent...!

We consider your scent as much a part of your outfit as your pants or shirt. You should pick a scent that’s distinctive, look for good cologne that you think matches your personality and the image that you want to impart on people. Don’t use too much, though.

Suit Up...!

Suit up! Invest in a good, expensive suit, and keep it clean and essentially ready-to-go at all times. Standard black is usually your best bet, for day as well as the evenings.

Facts to Consider About Your Clothing

1. People judge others based on their physical appearance. Think about it, how someone chooses to dress is usually one of the first things you notice about them.

2. Your appearance is one of the most basic things that you can change about yourself. If you look professional, well-dressed, or dressed according to the occasion, you’ll come across as someone who’s well-groomed, is capable of doing a job, professional enough to understand what is necessary for success, and has a good personality as well.

3. In order to leave a lasting impression on someone, you need to dress appropriately and according to the occasion. A good suit, ironed trousers and a shirt, polished shoes and a good watch will go a long way when it comes to making an impression on others.

4. A well-dressed person tends to stand-out. You immediately gain an edge over the others.

5. Your clothing shows that you are prepared, and did your homework.

6. There’s a ‘feel good’ factor associated with dressing well. Dressing professionally can make you feel better about yourself. It gives you more confidence

How Your Fashion Sense Affects Your Success

Whether you like it or not, your clothing communicates — and it can have a serious effect on your ability to achieve success.
Fair or not, people judge us by the way we look and that includes the way we dress.  Especially in the workplace, clothing significantly influences how others perceive you and how they respond toward you.c
Research shows that your appearance strongly influences other people's perception of your financial success, authority, trustworthiness, intelligence, and suitability for hire or promotion.
Here Are Tips To Keep A Sane Fashion Sense.
Don't show too much skin. That means no mini-skirts.
Never wear dirty clothes. This seems obvious  but plenty of people think they can get away with wearing that dirty shirt just one more time before washing it.
Don't wear wrinkled clothing. Heard of an iron? Use it.
Wear clothes that fit you well. Tailoring is a simple way to make clothes way more flattering. Tailor your clothes
Wear appropriate shoes and accessories. Don't wear jewelry that is too loud or obnoxious. Wear comfortable shoes that are appropriate for work.
Wear moderate makeup. If you wear makeup, don't overdo it!

Follow These Principles to Look Good While Being Casual

When you’re dressing down, your look can go one of two ways: sloppy or effortlessly stylish. Interestingly, there might be something to dressing down.

Fit.
Keep your clothes fitted. Pick a smart native casual, top or shirt that fit properly. Even if you’re running out of the house in Dunlop slippers, make sure that whatever you’re wearing is fitted.
Anything that swallows you up will not only make you look like a mess but it gives the appearance that you walked out of a different decade.

Just say no to wrinkles.
Don’t ever wear shabby clothes.  Dressing down doesn't mean you should throw on forgotten aged rag, shabby clothes that have seen better days. Dilapidated clothes are never a good look.

Spice it up with an expensive piece.

You can’t go wrong with a nice watch or an expensive ring to upgrade your outfit. Just find a way to show your audience that you are dressing down on purpose. This is also a way to exude confidence and show a sense of belonging, enough
to say that you’re confident and you know what you’re doing.

Dressing to Impress Your Woman Crush

Having a crush can be intriguing but frustrating when you feel like they don’t even know you exist! While there’s no secret formula to getting your crush’s attention, there are certain things that you can do to make sure you get on her radar. First and foremost you should put your best possible self out there. Look your best, be active, positive and project confidence.

To Get on Her Radar

Choose a shirt. Make sure to choose a shirt that flatters your body shape.

Choose a pair of pants. Try something that doesn't make you look too big or small. Never try pants that are too, too tight.

Choose a pair of shoes. Shoes are a must with style. Have shoes that are comfortable and look great too. Make sure that your shoes are appropriate to your activity.

Dress to Impress
It is a misconception that men can't be stylish. Today there are many different styles for men to wear.  Business casual, formal suit, Ankara prints,native- senator wear, shirts, smart native casual etc. Wearing clothing that is your style, flattering, and fits you well, will give you confidence. Impressing women with the way you dress is about finding your style and putting it together well!

Choose the colors you wear carefully. If you wear the correct colors for your skin tone, you will accentuate your good looks, whereas, wearing the wrong colors will be unflattering. As a rule, bright red, pale pink, teal, and eggplant, look good on all skin types.

Be the best dressed guy in the room. Always consider the context of where you are going when you are dressing, but err on the side of overdressing rather than under dressing.

When you care about how you look it shows, so be proud! Women will appreciate your care and will respect you more for it.

Your Fashion Style is your perception

Why Clothes matter: What does your wardrobe say about you?

Clothing have not always been as influential a ‘tell’ of our personalities as they are today. We need to acknowledge the relevance of our choice of clothing irrespective of our gender. Whether male or female, our choice of clothing can affect our self-image, confidence, the impression we create of ourselves and in turn, the way people will accept and react towards us. Fashion sense and style can influence everything, from when we wake up from sleep to when we are out for that business deal or job interview.
When we put on an item of clothing it is common for the wearer to adopt the characteristics associated with that garment. A lot of clothing has symbolic meaning for us, whether it’s professional work attire like a suit, shirt etc. Relaxing weekend wear, like casual, jeans, t-shirt. Or a modern native wears (known as traditional wears).like native casual, senator native wear, or tropical. We have the normalcy to prime the brain to behave in ways consistent with the meaning or importance associated with these clothes.
Ultimately, what you wear could discern how confident you feel about yourself. So, I would not be wrong to say that you are what you dress.
Putting on different clothes creates different thoughts and mental processes. You feel very high and in love with yourself when you are dressed in some clothing.  You hardly see someone in suit fight on the road. This is because, it was found that wearing a suit, improves a person’s agility.
Scientists call this phenomenon “enclothed cognition”
If I’m in casual clothes I relax and can do anyhow, but if I dress up for a meeting or a special occasion, it can alter the way I walk and hold myself.”

So the next time you reach for those casual tops, for that suit ask or ferry red dress, ask yourself how will that clothing item make you feel and what is it saying to the world around you today?

Worst Dressed Nigerian Celebrities

Celebrities with the worst fashion sense

A celebrity is a person who is famous and has already attained a status in the society, with specific importance to the field of entertainment'.
The role of a celebrity is of quite significance. This is  because they become the role models for thousands of others harboring the dreams of becoming celebrities and others who don’t. These followers look up to their idols for almost every course of action and are often seen, modeling their lifestyle after these celebrities.
Obviously, Celebrities are forever in the spotlight, this is why all celebrities need to be on constant guard insofar as their day-to-day behavior is concerned.

In Nigeria today, we have a handful of celebrities that understand the position they occupy, and they do their best to always put their lives in check, especially when they are in the public eye. While there are some who doesn’t care what they bring on.
My focus today is on Nigerian celebrities who have got the worst fashion sense. Fashion being an instant language and style a personal matter implies that fashion and style is an artistic means of self-expression. Well, some of these celebrities are better off keeping their opinions of self in their closets.
Yeah, we all have the general off day when we just don’t feel like putting much effort into our appearance, but there simply aren’t enough excuses to look like you live in a cardboard box.
Well Sorry guys, you've just made our list for Nigerian celebrities with the worst fashion sense

1 Charley Boy

He is always dressing like a juju priest. He wears rings all over his fingers, nose, looking like an escaped inmate.

Denrele as a weird dresser. He dresses like a comic star in childrens' book

3 Prince Uzoegwu

He is a stunt follower of Denrele. A confused dresser.

4 Emeka Ike

Emeka is someone I admire from afar, but mehn I don’t envy his dressing at all. He doesn’t wear shirt, he wears shart. He doesn’t wear suit, suit wears him.

5 Cossy Orjiakor

Cossy is a Skin-Show lunatic, if she hasn’t shown her oversized pawpaw, she hasn’t started. It was difficult picking a decent picture of her. I think the picture above, is the most decent picture of Cossy, you can imagine the rest.

6 Rukky sands

Rukky has a habit for wearing very revealing outfits. On one occasion her nipples were almost showing in a highly revealing gown that she wore.

7 Halima Abubakar

She is an underwear skipping-agent. She is often seen without bra. Her fashion sense has nothing to bring back home.

8 Mbong Amatah

So I'm not entirely sure who Mbong Amatah is but i do know that she has a knack for picking very revealing clothes, her cleavage is a must see for viewers. Contrastingly, she is beautiful and a mother but her dressing, mehn… her child is really watching.

Oh well...that's one way to get people to know you guys I suppose!
